For those of us that watch game of thrones, i know it would amaze you to know that my favorite characters were Tommen Boratheon (or lannister), and Ramsay Bolton. Yeah, i know right??.. but well, thats how i was designed. For those of us who don’t watch game of thrones, tommen and ramsay were the most hated characters.. those guys were utter monsters
I just dunno how it works but I’m drawn to the dark side lol. When i watch movies i always root for the bad guys. I mean, my whatsapp wallpaper is Adolf Hitler, i have a folder of comic villains, the Joker alone having close to 700 pictures. I have issues lol…
Here today, ladies and gentlemen, i will proceed to share with you my top 10 villains whether it’s Marvel, DC, or wherever. If you’re a geek, you will want to proceed, if you’re not, proceed still. Let us proceed shall we?
10 DARTH VADER (Anakin Skywalker)
I hated how he sought salvation just before he died but then, can you compile a list or super-villains without thinking “oh darth vader”. Anyways, what i loved most about him was his swift transition from the promising Jedi to the dark side. I mean, if just any random sith had become darth, it wouldn’t have upset the Jedi masters as much as one of their very own becoming darth. By just almost wiping the Jedi out of existence, he earns his place on this list.
He probably doesn’t deserve to be on this list as he’s just a tactless raging beast from krypton(i mean, i like to see a villain capable of long-term evil plans) but he earned it by achieving this feat ‘HE KILLED SUPERMAN’. Yup he did. So, yeah, you earned it bruh!!
I really dunno if he is on this list because i hate batman or because he deserves it, but then, he is regarded as “the man who broke the bat”… uhhm yeah, he once broke Batman’s back and he also once buried him alive so we can say haha!! In your face batman!!! I love the fact that he needs a constant supply of pain releivers to keep him from feeling the unbearable pain(that is now a characteristic of his body since the prison incident. That’s why he always has a facemask on), yet it doesn’t stop him from being the awesome villain he is.
When it comes to villains, it really doesn’t get bigger or badder. Thats why this guy should be up there on this list, but he always fails.. like please we know you can conquer the universe but what is the need if superman beats you to it all the time. This villain is a nerd and wants to conquer the universe using MATHS lmao.. yes, he plans to do this by solving the ‘Anti-life equation’. When they told you maths was important, you did not hear word.
I really dunno if the Marvel Universe is confused as at where to place this guy.. cos he’s been hovering around the grey area(neither hero or villain) for the past few years. However, move on to the first few X-men movies when magneto was a proper villain.. yes, back when he tore the wolverine apart and killed half the world’s super heroes, yeah!!!. I’d love to see magneto unleash his full potential in the next x-men movies tho. You have Iron in your blood right? That’s why you should fear magneto.
5 DR DOOM (VICTOR VON DOOM)
This super villain is the smartest person in the marvel universe (I’m abt 80% sure). Even smarter than Reed Richards. Doom can exchange minds with anyone (he’s done it to the entire fantastic 4 and daredevil), he is a genius in physics, robotics (he creates doombots), genetics, cybernetics, time travel, biochemistry and weapons chemistry(science counts afterall). I personally do not fancy this dude, bet he’s definitely one of the top villains of all time.
Loki is the “the god of mischief, madness and evil” so you know what is up. To show you how dangerous this guy is, lemme tell you that he is the reason for the formation of The Avengers (mistakenly tho). If you watched the 2012 Avengers movie, you had to be amazed with the way he could keep the entire avengers team busy while he was battling his brother. He could have practically destroyed the city as well as the avengers (or so i think). Anyways, this guy once turned his very own brother and asgard’s greatest warrior (Thor) into a frog. He possesses immense magical abilities, superhuman strength, he’s immune to terrestrial injuries and diseases, is capable of re-attaching body parts (including his own head), teleportation, hypnosis, molecular rearrangement, astral projection, illusion casting, flight and telepathy. Do not mess with this guy!!!
I didn’t really know about galactus till yesterday but i feel i was right to displace the other villains for him. This guy practically eats planets to sustain his life force. He’s the lone survivor of the universe existing before the big bang, so yes, he’s a big deal!.
According to marvel.com, Galactus possesses cosmic power beyond most forms of measurement (The Power Cosmic). He can levitate; restructure molecules; convert matter into energy and vice-versa; project energy with enormous concussive force; teleport himself, others, and objects across space, dimensions, and time; erect virtually impenetrable fields; restore others from any injury, even total disintegration; and endow or enhance powers within others. Even his heralds, imbued with the smallest fraction of his power, can manipulate matter and energy far beyond human comprehension. Though he generally avoids physical conflict, Galactus can bolster his own strength beyond any known system of measure. Galactus is telepathic, able to scan the thoughts of virtually any known being.
Galactus has to feed(on planets) about once a month and is indestructible (though he seems to have been destroyed a couple of times, he has always regenerated). His immense power and ability, earns him the number 3 spot.
This is the villain i find most fascinating and he should be number 1 but my sentiments will not let me displace the number 1 on this list. His obsession with Lady Death (Yes, death appears to him in the form of a lady) makes him the raging beast he is. He intends to prove his love to death by destroying planets and causing billions of deaths (which he has done). He desperately wants to conquer the galaxy.
According to marvel.com, Thanos possesses the superhuman physiology of all Eternals, granting him superhuman strength, endurance, reflexes, and agility. His skin is nearly invulnerable, particulary against heat, cold, electricity, radiation, toxins, aging, and disease, and he can survive indefinitely without food or water even before his “curse” from Death left him immortal, unable to die. His mind is also invulnerable to most forms of psychic attack, and can project a psionic blast of energy as well as blasts of plasma/cosmic energy from his eyes and hand. The reason i find him particularly interesting is because he destroyed his entire race including his own mother due to the inferiority complex he suffers as a result of a genetic disorder which made him look different from the rest of his kind.
Moral: Next time you want to make jest of someone cos they’re different, remember thanos.
This guy has no super powers. He is number 1 simply because he is the most tactful evil genius on this list. It is said that when villains tell scary stories to eachother, it’s usually about the joker. His words and intellect surpass every other superpower in my book.
The Joker has been responsible for numerous tragedies in Batman’s life, including the paralysis of Barbara Gordon (Batgirl/Oracle) and the murders of Jason Todd (the second Robin) and Jim Gordon’s second wife Sarah Essen.
The joker is a tactful genius, is highly intellectual and sadistically comical. Even without super powers, he is widely feared and is Batman’s most difficult villain.
I mean who doesn’t love the Joker???… I know I’m in love with him lol..
Which other villains do you think deserve to be on this list???
